Capri
One of my favorite places in Italy! On my last trip to the Amalfi Coast I actually stayed on the island of Capri and did a day trip to Positano and Ravello by ferry. It’s not the typical way to do things, but I loved it!
Lauterbrunnen
Lauterbrunnen, located in a valley close to Interlaken, is one of the best home bases (in my opinion) for visiting central Switzerland. It’s about an hour from Bern and two hours from Zurich. You can easily spend a week or more here with plenty of hikes and villages to visit nearby.
Salzburg
Whether your musical preferences lean classical or “show tunes”, Salzburg is the perfect place to visit. Music isn’t the only attraction in Salzburg, you can also explore a salt mine or visit to Hitlers “Eagle’s Nest”.
